Accident leaves one dead at Tema Harbor.

 

In a tragic accident at the Golden Jubilee Terminal of the Tema Harbor, a young importer has been crashed from the waist down under the weight of a reach stacker, during an offloading procedure. 

According to an eye witness, the accident happened when a container-handling machine was reversing. The victim, who was standing behind the vehicle, was knocked down and crushed by its tyres, suffering fatal injuries from the waist down.
