Gideon Aryeequaye is the Acting Executive Secretary of the Creative Arts Agency

The Creative Arts Agency of Ghana, in collaboration with Cadling Fashion and the Korle Gonno Community Library, is launching a groundbreaking fashion empowerment initiative titled “The Fashion Dialogue Series with Linda Ampah.”

As part of the Agency’s “Inspire the Creative-in-Me” human resource development project, the series aims to bridge the gap between emerging fashion students and top-tier industry professionals. The event offers aspiring designers a chance to gain real-world insights, industry knowledge, and entrepreneurial guidance directly from successful creatives.

Elevating the Next Generation of Fashion Talent

The inaugural seminar, scheduled for Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the Theatre Auditorium of the Korle Gonno Community Library, will run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. It features keynote speaker Linda Ampah, a renowned Ghanaian fashion designer with international acclaim.

Attendees will benefit from a lineup of interactive dialogues, workshops, and masterclasses focused on:

  • Career pathways in the fashion industry
  • Overcoming industry challenges
  • Building sustainable fashion brands
  • Identifying job and business opportunities

Supporting Creative Industry Growth in Ghana

The Fashion Dialogue Series is not just a seminar, it’s part of a larger national strategy to enhance Ghana’s creative economy. By nurturing vocational students and young fashion practitioners, the Creative Arts Agency is helping to prepare the next generation of creative entrepreneurs for successful careers after school.

This initiative also reinforces the government’s commitment to skills development, youth empowerment, and job creation within the creative arts sector.
